From Kenya to NYC
On the 314th edition of the program, we’ll feature some interesting
collaborations between Afro-Cuban pianist Omar Sosa and artists from
Ethiopia and Kenya. We’ll also hear some musical, political poetry by
Antonis Antoniou from Cyprus ; some hot Latin pop from Spanish singer
Amparanoia, Brazilian ensemble Luedji Luna, a trio from France,
Burkina Faso and Chile called Komasi, contemporary folk by L’Alba
from Corsica. Modern dance music from Ikoqwe, originally from Angola,
Alostmen from Ghana, David Walters from NYC via Martinique, and a
look back on the 1989s in Somalia with 4 Mars.
